The little yellow flag was up, in my upper right corner, so I clicked on it and saw this:
“Sauron Russia invades Ukraine”
And thought: “Oh great: now we’ll have to send anti-Orc weaponry to Ukraine!”

Strangely enough, a few reports from various officials in the Ukraine have referred to stopping Mordor and “the Orcs have failed to take the City.” I’ll have to look for the odd little article I read this morning.

Wow, a bit of a zombie I suppose…
My wife and I moved this summer, HUGE change for us.
Anyway, LOVE our new house, and there are train tracks about 200 yards away. Love that too. They just roll slowly along. No crossings near so not a lot of the train horn going HOOOONNNNKKK. But for one engineer, or so the story is from our neighbors. His wife lives close to us, and the engineer gives a quick ‘toot toot’ on his horn when he rolls on by to say hello to his wife.
Oh, more train stuff… At the end of our cul-de-sak, a neighbor throws a big 4th of July party every year. BYOB, but lots of food and fun. It’s close enough to the train tracks that the engineer can’t miss the party we are having. So, of course, we all do the up and down motion to have him blow his horn. We had a blast and we got a BLAST out of that train. What fun.
