Well, I’m going to have to do something I hoped not to – ask for someone to sponsor me again this year. We’ve had the money to re-up, but owing to storm damage, we’re likely to be offline for a while while we relocate – our (rental) house was severely damaged by a falling tree. After we get resettled, we’ll sponsor someone else to pay that back. ---

And once again… Well, on the one hand, I have a paying job. On the other hand, the pay sucks and I’ve been on four day weeks since Christmas, after two weeks of unpaid layoff. Goodbye savings. I’m strictly cheque to cheque. I also don’t have a bank account, so no Paypal. Sigh. Help. Dammit. Sorry. ---

Folks, It’s getting pretty close to deadline, but if there are any more Charter Members who still need help, please ask me. I have been helped more than once in the past. It’s time to “pay it forward.” I figure I can easily afford two Charter membership renewals (half-price). _ **If no one responds by May19th, I will solicit a single non-Charter renewal. .** _ (Same difference.) I actually feel a bit chintzy in such a limited offering. But I’m not affluent or even particularly prosperous these days. (Just not as broke as I have been when I needed help, though.) Hi, I’m a Charter Member who’s subscription is up soon. I’m having problems trying toget the PayPal setup to work, and my time is getting short. **TubaDiva** has started a thread about such difficulties. Can anyone help me by subscribing for me, and I’ll reimburse them? It would be $7.48. I’ll mail you a check, money order, or whatever, assuming you will trust me with your snail mail address. _Heh, heh, heh._ But seriously folks, I have Dopers who will vouch for me, having met me IRL. My email is in my profile. I know it’s silly, but I don’t want to lose my Charter Membership. ---

It looks like the opportunity will pass for a good deed for two charters, but maybe the thought is what counts. And there is always next year, if I’m still “around” to “pay_ **pal** _-it-forward” then! Meantime, I will move up the threshold time for the single non-charter to mid-evening, Today, May 18.
