# SDMB Ten Year Anniversary?

If there is already a thread about this, I couldn’t find it through search.

Anyway, didn’t the board go up in 1998 on AOL? If so, any celebration plans?

We started on AOL in 1996 but got out on our own in 1999, so check back with us next year, maybe, that would be appropriate. Though we really haven’t paid a lot of attention to that sort of thing, the 10 year date from when we were on AOL came and went and we didn’t do anything special and the we’ve never celebrated any other anniversaries to speak of. It’s just time passing. Though I do note I’ve been involved since the earliest days, which is scary, that’s a long time to be doing anything.
