Here’s more names: **Skerri** makes me think of the liquor, Sherry, and also of the word “scary.” **Tamerlane** makes me think of “tamborine,” but I also get the sense of this general, whom everyone fears, but who is just a real sweetie at heart. 😉 **Opalcat** makes me think of a opal kitty figurine. **Mephisto** makes me think of a particular symphony conducted by Kurt Mazur. I think it’s the Mephistopholes/Mephisto? symphony. I can’t recall right now who wrote it. I’ll have to check my CDs and get back to you. It’s a great CD, btw. Very dramatic. **Go alien** makes me think of an alien cheerleeding squad that has green skin, big black eyes, and skinny bodies. They’re just full of spirit, but I’m not sure exactly what kind of alien sport they’re cheering for. **Anthracite** makes me think of a strong, dark woman whom folks do not cross. 🙂 **Larry Mudd** makes me think of a smart, young Elmer Fudd. **Green Bean** gets me to thinking about fresh vegetables picked from the vine and eaten raw. Yum. **Semp** makes me think of “simper.” Do you like to flirt, hon? 🙂 **Gartog** conjures images of nuts or bolts or whatever you call the parts of a machine that hold things in place. **gatopescado** reminds me of Sylvester the Cat guarding his fish dinner. 🙂 **Biggirl** is a superheroine that no one messes around with. **monstro** brings to mind a monster. **auntie em** reminds me more of Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz than her aunt. **LaurAnge** always makes me think of blancmange. **dantheman** makes me think about my friend Dan from high school, I used to call him that all the time. **Polycarp** reminds me of the Douglas Adams story where the robots await “the great genital coming” - there’s a Dr Polycarp in there somewhere. ---

Hmmmm…to make things even, **Flamsterette\_X** brings to mind Marvel Comics’ female manga version of the Human Torch. **Fenris** brings to mind massive viking warriors, having just returned from a stag hunt. **CrankyAsAnOldMan** reminds me of my home in Ann Arbor, MI, 'cause that’s where I met her. **Guinastasia** reminds me of russian royalty and X-Wings at the same time. Boy, there’s an interesting combination… [Russian female voice]"Red seven, standing by.[/Russian female voice]. **UncleBeer** reminds me of the crazy uncle in every family…the one who’d let you stay up late playing video games or buy you ice cream when your parents weren’t looking. **TubaDiva** reminds me of the day we had a nasty blizzard in Michigan this year, and I STILL had to go to school. (I ended up talking with Tuba briefly over an instant messenger that day.) ---

(and I haven’t studied them since elementary school) **Broken Doll** makes me think of a child’s doll without the head, legs, or arms. **Morgainelf** remiinds me of the Avalon legends. **El Elvis Rojo** makes me wonder what Elivs would have looked like with red hair. (or even a red hairpiece) **TubaDiva** makes me think of someone who’s really good at playing the tuba. (though I never knew anybody like that in my days of being in the school band) **Mullinator** makes me think of mullets, for some reason. That, or mulberries. **Silver\_Fire** makes me think of magic spells, for some reason. **Max Carnage** makes me think of someone who is dedicated to causing the maximum amount of harm, carnage, and destruction possible wherever he goes. (sort of like a human hurricane) **Astro** and **Astroboy14**? No question: the Jetson’s cute dog. **InternetLegend** makes me think of someone who’s so truly a legend that her name pops up on every search engine, no matter what you do a search for. **screech-owl** makes me think of Dustin Diamond, who played Screech on _Saved By The Bell_. (I once had a very nice dream about him :D) **mouthbreather** makes me think of some creature that only breathes through its mouth, and is incapable of drawing air through its nose. **Gunslinger** makes me think of the Old West sherriffs, with their loaded carbine .45s with buckshot, ready to defend their little frontier towns. **Shagnasty** always makes me think of very dirty things. 😃 **andygirl** makes me think of the comic strip _Foxtrot_. (the mother is named Andy) **The Wrong Girl** makes me think of that musical group Everything But The Girl. (they took that name from a furniture store) **Rico** makes me think of some dude in Hawaiian shirt and shorts, just catching the wave on his surfboard. Alternatively, I think of that song “Rico Suave” by Geraldo. **woolly** makes me think of fuzzy lambs, sheep, woolly mammoths, etc. **Caught@Work** reminds me of some guy who just can’t get a break, and is almost always at work, churning out stuff for a project with an ever-changing deadline. **CRorex** makes me think of pharmacies and pills, for some reason. **lolagranola** makes me think of granola bars, and that time in Gr. 12 when those were all I had for lunch a couple days of the week. (I had Band practice in the music portable) **Big Kahuna Burger** makes me think of a big Hawaiian burger, and what fixings might go in it: pineapples, mangoes, coconuts, etc. F\_X ---

Okay, honest to god truth on this one - **Milossarian** always makes me think of “millenarian”, a concept that always reminds me of the _Taqui Ongo_, an obscure millenarian sect practiced by 16th century Peruvians resistant to the Spanish conquest, who happened to be a side-topic in a term paper I once wrote in a Colonial Latin America class in college. Oh, and **CrankyAsAnOldMan** reminds me of the Beatles and their song “Baby, you’re a rich man”. The name **Coldfire** gives me fits. I mean, how can something be cold and fiery? Ow, ow, ow. Brain fit. **TubaDiva** - someone who dives off tubas. Sometimes **Flamsterette** reminds me of David Bowie’s “Suffragette City”. ---

Here are my bizarre mental pictures conjured up by various usernames: **Arnold Winkelreid** - I always picture Fonzie from _Happy Days_ sitting at a computer. Why, I know not. **Scylla** - I will now always see one of those self-propelled pool cleaners whenever I read this name. **Guinastasia** makes me think of Guenivere. I picture her as a hippy with long blonde hair wearing a crown. **LaurAnge** makes me think of an angel and also of Canada. **scott evil** is of course Seth Green. **Hastur** makes me think of one of the demons from Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman’s _Good Omens_- one of them is named Hastur. For some reason, I also often think of RiffRaff from _Rocky Horror_ when I see this username. I don’t know why. **Esprix** makes me think of my friend Rick, who has spiky brown hair and glasses. Also, a package of those candies called ‘smarties’. I’m not sure why. **OpalCat** always makes me think of the ‘Jesus-on-pogostick’ boxers I bought from her website. Also, I think of large straw hats with flowers on them- maybe because of the picture on her website. **LolaCocaCola** - a bottle of Coke. I also picture her as my friend Joanna, a petite girl with long curly hair. **Sublight** - I picture Japanese public toilets. (Sorry! The location and wiping threads, y’know?) **ResIpsaLoquitor** reminds me of that guy who played the assistant DA on _Law and Order_ a couple of years ago. ---

whatchu talking about hillbilly queen? I think of a hill billy (think of I love lucy when she’d dres up like a yokel). This hill billy, however, is sitting on a throne with a crown fashioned out of corn cobs. I see gingham (red and white) and hear the words: fixin’ to, mean mouthin’ and gol’ ding it when I see your name. **mouthbreather** I picture this big ol’ stanky gorilla standing next to some weirdo guy in sunglasses. 😃 **Max Carnage** : I picture some suave serial killer…but more along the lines of Max Power’s brother. **ResIpsaLoquitor** : a dinosaur on a respirator. \*\*pezpunkb]: is the dealer guy on the corner trying to push pez on you. **CRorex** : a bottle of Clorax. **gatopescado** : a cat and a fish(specifically the fish friend of jabberjaw), but not a catfish as that’s not the word for it in spanish. **John Carter of Mars** :I always say to myself: “not to be confused with John Carter of Venus”. **Rue da Day** :is the guy from Planet of the apes (Charleton Heston), shaking his fist at the apes: Get your stinkin’ paws off me, you filthy ape.
