That flu that’s going around just got to me – I’m not going to work on mine till I’m feeling a hell of a lot better, which means they’ll probably be late. Sorry about that.
Just wanted to say I am covered in red, yellow, and blue paint. It’s on my fingers, my nose, and in my hair! I had all kinds of fun creating the valentines, and I hope y’all enjoy them. C3, yours went in the mail today. I’ve finished amarinth and Anaamika’s, and they should be mailed tomorrow.

Just got back from Michaels where I picked up some silly little foam things for making cards. Some lucky Dopers are soon to receive cards co-designed by ValleyGirl (1 year old). That is, if she doesn’t put all the foam things in her mouth.

I made mine last night, and they went out in this morning’s mail. Nothing fancy, but probably better than last years.
Mine have been mailed. They aren’t very creative–there is nothing handmade. However there is candy. And little tattoos. So, hey there’s some fun.
After enduring a evening of eye-rolling and “you’ve got to be kidding me”'s from the boyfriend after he asked why I was so intensely studing the construction paper in Target, I decided I’ll be embarking on this little project while he’s not around.
So ya’ll probably be getting yours right around V-day, maybe a day late depending on where everyone is…
Everyone should probably know that I don’t have a single creative bone in my body. Consider yourself warned. 
I finally got the bulk of the Valentines done. Now I just have to add the pieces of flair. Hopefully they’ll go out with Friday’s mail.

I mailed half of mine today. Last night I figured out how to print envelopes on my computer, which made life so much easier. The other half should be mailed by tomorrow, if everything goes well.
Every single one of you is going to show me up. I had fun addressing things though - I’m a 2nd grader at heart.
I love the V-Day exchange! I got my first 4 today – 2 neat homemade ones from Anaamika and Monica and 2 neat store-bought ones from dbygawdcapn and vivalostwages. I’ve got them up on my mantel for all to be jealous of. Oh, and mine are all finished – I missed the mailman today, but they’re all going out tomorrow. Looks like I’ll even be on time this year – although our international Dopers will probably be getting theirs late.
I get this every year from my loving family. Until they see the evidence that Dopers LO-O-VE me lined up on the mantel. And they’re all sitting there with a big old stack of Valentine’s nothin’.
