But upon further reflection, I realized there’s no way that a human being would possibly question all of these things in such quick succession, no matter how stupid. He’s the Ford Prefect of the two-thousand-'tweens. Incidentally, I do \*so \*hope that futurefolk end up referring to this decade as the 'tweens. ---

I’ve probably opened less than 5 pit threads towards poster here in my 10 years of posting, but I came pretty close to starting this thread myself today. He does say some rather weird, not to say dumb, things, but I am not seeing much of the evidence of it in that list of questions. Most of them seem to be pretty typical SDMB fare to me. Or are you just saying he has started a lot of threads lately? ---

The OPs aren’t discussion openers, and the threads almost never generate discussions. They’re survey questions, and they tend to get a couple of posters “filling out the survey”, and that’s it. It’s the same reason I generally avoid “What’s your favorite…?” threads, but at leat those are relatively rare and generally contained to a single topic. ---

It reads like a bot that people plug homework questions into, and then harvest the responses that come in. There’s a lot of posts being started, and very little actual discussion being engaged. It rarely seems to enter other threads and mostly seems to want people to do its homework for it. ---
