The SDMB, in its current incarnation, is nine years old this month. Who else thinks there needs to be one bigass shindig somewhere in Chicago next March? I know there was some interest in one of the recent 99er threads. Who’d be interested in such a thing? ---

Fascinating, I love Chicago, I would consider it. However the only drawback is that Chicago in March is not so wonderful, so often. Are you sure you don’t want to delay it until at least late April? Jim ---

[/QUOTE] I recall Late April as lovely, especially if you walk on the sunny side of the street. However, I have only been to Chicago a 8 or 9 times\* and even April nights can get cold. I recall a Cubs game where the Hot Chocolate easily outsold the beer. It was somewhere below freezing. Jim - Most of these trips from Great Lakes when I was in Naval Training in 1985. But at least 3 times since. Once in April (the Cubs game was part of this.) ---
