I like this from the Sea Monkey FAQ page: “ **If they somehow find their way** into natural waterways or sewer lines, they simply will not be able to survive outside of the formula.” 🙂 ---

There’s always a seed or two in it and they often sprout. The budgies then get to eat the sprouts. Behind the Sea Monkey tank is a bamboo plant in a glass container. Those are the roots showing. ---
