John Corrado: The anchovy pirahna. This hybrid fish hails from the shores of Italy. While it tastes great on pizza, this little fish is viscious if cornered.

aha: The treble crab. This crustacean roams beaches looking for new shells. when it finds a bright or colorful one, it can be heard to faintly make an exclamation of surprise/joy.

casdave: The penguin. Recently, it was discovered that penguins also recide in England. The tuxedoed birds are quite the hit with the young children there, but be warned: They’re known for stealing bikes.

More to come later, folks.

Sorry, Seale, that just wasn’t up to snuff. No way I’d adopt that as a new sig and proudly show it off to the entire board.

Is my sarcasm showing?

I try to resist these threads, but I just can’t… **they keep pulling me back in!**
I was just sculpin them out, and believed I would eider just check out the plaice, or just permit myself to read the thread and mullet over in my head, but they’re just scads of fun (Wahoo!)! I just keep coming back for moray!

…something awfully fishy about that.

Anyway, please give me a fish…

OK, so an eider is a sea duck and not a fish… so smew me!

Wooo! got some catching up to do, I see!

Patience please, y’all. I’ll get to everyone eventually, but my time online is limited.

smug: The Canadian Cod. This ice water fish is a pale white fish thrives in frozen lakes, and is attracted to shiny bait, especially the kind with “Molson” inscribed on it.

Suo Na: The Japanese lotus. This member of the trout family displays some very interesting habits. It actually “farms” algie for its food, establishing a floating garden that it feeds on when it migrates to California (via Canada. Don’t ask) to spawn.

Ayesha: The crack-smoking morey.

Just kidding. 🙂

Ayesha: The lionfish. The female of this species is very loyal, fiercly protective of its family. It uses its unusually bony forehead to headbutt foes into submission. It’s this trait, as well as its colorful appearance, that make it a favorite with children on the beach (the lionfish delights in beating the crap out of any nearby sharks).

Spiritus Mundi: The Ghost. This old legend describes what is possibly the last of its kind. Reports describe the Ghost as an etherial serpent that haunts the coast of Florida. Either this creature is an urban legend, or it is too intellegent to be captured for further study.

Arnold Winkelried: Damn, brain fart. I’ll get back to you.

WallyM7: The wallyrus. This close relative of the walrus is known for its vorocious mating habits. Its harems are legendary, as well as the fights it gets into with other males. The frozen hills and mountains of Canada echo all through spring with the short, chuffing battle cries of the wallyruses (They sound somewhat like “buttz”).

Chrisbar: The chamelionfish. This clever little “roleplayer”, hailing from the Med. Sea, changes color to fit in with other schools of fish. This creature is a speedy breeder, going out of its way to make sure its “count” is as high as possible.
