# Search attempts count or not?

Re the 300 second delay between searches: if I accidently try to search 295 seconds after my last search, does the attempt count against me? (I have to wait an additional 300 seconds?)

I think it doesn’t. When I have tried to search and come up against the ‘too soon!’ page, I find that if I try to search again before the time is up, the page gives me an updated countdown. If you wanted to try every 10 seconds you would see the count of time remaining go down until you were able to search.
