# Search Function?

The FAQ claims there’s a search function, but I can’t actually see it anywhere…there are no search links on my page. Is this because it’s a guest membership?

Yes, only paying members are allowed to search.

I think the thing that cheeses me off the most is that sometimes I click the new posts button and it looks like it didn’t take so I click again and get taken straight to the page that says I have 120 seconds before I can search again. If I ever grow tired of the Straight Dope, it will not be because of board drama or crap like that. It will be because of the effin’ search function.
