# Search issues. "lizard breath"

… does not return threads only with the entire string “lizard breath”, but rather all threads with the word “lizard” and the word “breath” in them. I don’t think this should be correct search behavior, as it severely cramps my lizard halitosis ignorance fighting.  
For example, it returns [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=426167&highlight=%22lizard+breath%22), which has not the phrase “lizard breath” in any manner.

Bug?

This is why I find the SD search engine next to useless: you can’t find the wheat for the chaff.

Seriously, that’s the way it’s supposed to work. It’s been that way since day 1. But yes, it is a pain.
