# Search options: Search the previous 72 hours?

Would it be possible to set a search option for a 72 hour timeframe? Presently we can search for posts from the previous day, but the next shortest setting we can opt for is from the previous week. Lots of times I know I’m looking for something posted within the last 2 or 3 days, and don’t need to harass the hamsters by having them look further back.
Or is there a drawback to adding that sort of timeframe?

In addition to having a 72hr/3day option on the search function, it would be rather handy to have the same thing on the “Display Options” for each forum.

It’s very possible, however, it involves a modification to the vBulletin software, which the Admins have posted they are loathe to do.
