# Search Result Thread Doesn't Contain Search Term

I just did a Cafe Society search for the word “Mayday” (the airplane disaster investigation series) and did a within - page search for each of the resulting threads, because it was obvious that most of them were not about that program.

One of the threads was this one: [http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=514204&highlight=mayday](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=514204&highlight=mayday) which apparently doesn’t even contain the word “Mayday”. 😕

Any ideas as to why/ how this may be?

Weird. I don’t think I’ve ever had that happen to me, and FWIW I did a search on “mayday” and that thread did not come up.

I even checked to make sure none of the posts were dated 05-01-2009. 🙂

I just did another CS search and yes, it did appear again for me. 😕
