# Searching Web for German Soldier

My history teacher has a passoprt from a soldier from Nazi Germany, and is wondering if the man is still alive. Does anyone know of a site where I might be able to find out if he is still alive?

The closest office (to you) of the German consul is in Miami.

You also might give these folks a try:

If that link works, it’s the “German Information Center.”

The Krauts were notoriously meticulous record keepers. I’m sure there are “papers” somewhere.
