Just think of the feel good story, the warm glow that would permeate all NFL fans if the legend, Number 4, were able to lead his team to one more Superbowl. Just think of all the praise and love and he’d be getting from the game announcers, and NFL commentators everywhere. You’d hear nothing but Brett Favre’s name on every channel you turned it to. There’s something to consider when you make your decision who to root for. ---

The Vikings have not been eliminated yet, in case you didn’t notice. The Patriots lost a bunch of Superbowls too, before the Brady/Belichick era. Monkeys can be killed. ---

That is, if the Vikings and Chargers win. True, but at least the Bills had the good grace to lose four in a row, which takes some heat off my Vikings. Some. Not much. But it’s worse in my mind, at least. ---

Bertrand Berry was fined $5,000 by the NFL for his helmet to helmet hit on Rodgers in overtime. The one that didn’t draw a flag. ---
