# Seat for a 2000 Silverado 1500 LS. Interchangeable with??

I’m trying to get a new/different seat for a Silverado 1500 LS. I found one that is cheap and even leather, but, it’s for a 2008 model, and not a 2000, which is the model that I have.  
Is there an online Interchange list? When I google it, all I can find are _exchanges_, not \*interchange \*sites, even though they call themselves interchange. This translates into my wasting time on sites that have the original seats. Only trouble is, they are all in another state.  
So, what all seats fit in a 2000 Silverado 1500 LS?

Try “compatibility” for the search. Based on some aftermarket seat covers, it looks like you can use seats from 1999-2002 models, and maybe up to 2005, depending on front or rear, 60/40 bench or buckets, etc.

Unfortunately, I don’t know of an online version of the parts interchange books they have at the junkyard. I do know that if you do a search at [car-part.com](http://car-part.com) (which is basically a junkyard search engine) you can select an option for compatible parts, so if you just searched for a seat there you should be able to suss out which years use the same seat.

Although often the overall dimensions of these trucks change so little even from generation to generation that chances are an even wider range of years will work. This might be a good question to ask (or just search for) on a GM truck forum.
