I know i keep saying i’ll attend and i never make it. One of these days I will. This week we have a brand new puppy (who just spent last night withthe vet due to a mystery illness) so i am out. If it wasn’t in Seattle I’d be there more often, but i just hate fighting the bridges and then looking for parking. I’m lame. There I’ve said it. ---

I’m afraid sartorial flora don’t usually appear, but I’ll make up a plain, letter-sized sign saying “The Cecil Adams Party.” Hopefully, our hosts won’t mind too much if I tape such a thing above a table for the evening. Sure hope some new blood shows up. Meeting SDMB members is one of the good parts about these trivia gatherings. I should be able to appear fairly early, say before 6. Am I the only one that has an urge to sit out on the deck tonight? The King5 weather site says the overnight low will be 42, which should mean the evening won’t be freezing, and it sure doesn’t seem like it’ll rain. If I’m the first one there, however, I will grab a table inside. Once several others are there, we can decide on the outside option. There shouldn’t be much competition for the picnic tables. ---

Jeez you guys are a bunch of shrinking violets! **picunurse** , I am wearing a green sweater, blue jeans. Short brown hair, beard, glasses, 6’ tall. **Lady Cheek** , who will also be there is tall, thin, shoulder-length reddish-brown hair. As has been noted several times in the previous thread, I am astoundingly good looking and very, very buff. Yes. So, we’ll be showing, **Lady Cheek** ’ll be bringing a co-worker, Mark, a fella you’ve all met before. ---

Outside? Are you kidding me? Well, I sure hope someone can lend me a sweater (I’m coming from work), or my violets will shrink for sure. **The Cecil Adams Experience** sounds like a good team name to me. As for the second team (to the newbies: it’s 6 to a team, but we all still sit together and socialize), everybody brainstorm! ---
