[There’s a thread about the second debate](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=806508) already, started several days ago and already a couple pages thick with speculation. As I discussed there, I’d prefer a clean thread to carry on discussion once the actual debate starts. If mods think this is a bad idea, I won’t fuss if you lock this one; but for others, I’d kindly ask you to confine any criticism of this thread’s starting to a Pit thread you start just for me if you need to :). It’d be awesome to keep this thread specifically for talking about the debate as it happens and immediately afterward. ---

Assuming Trump’s pre-debate press conference is fair game for this thread, he looked exhausted. There was nothing there that was “new” - unseemly, yes, but more reflective on him, not Hillary Clinton. Regardless, look at body language and verbal tone. This is not a man able to kick ass for 90 minutes. ---
