I got my gift - a wall calendar with pictures of castles. Most of them are ones I haven’t seen before. It’s perfect! But I don’t know who to thank. There’s a name written out beside the return address, but I can’t figure out which poster it is. Speak up, Santa? ---

It was with the excitement of a little boy that I picked up my package from the patio, ran inside, got the scissors and tore into my present! First thing I did was read the card, (thank you, by the way, for the sweet words) and then, with a maniacal gleam in my eye (“What’d she get me, what’d she get me, what’d she get me???”) I tore into your prettily wrapped presents. First thing I found was that very cool Eddie Bauer water bottle with powder drink mix already inside and a tube one can freeze that keeps the drink cold longer!!! I don’t **have** anything like that, Becky, THANK YOU!!! 😃 I keep my bike inside the apartment, so the next order of business was to make sure the botle would fit the cage, and YESSSSSS!!! It does!!! Ya done good, **Mousie**!!! 😃 [channelling Mr. Bean] With Eddie Bauer water bottle, **Quasimodem** is now _too cool to move_ [/channeling Mr. Bean]🆒 Next I shook the other package… hmmmmmm. What can this be??? A HUGE bag of trail mix, [Kermit the Frog] YAYYYYYYY!!![/Kermit the Frog] in individually packaged little bags, just right for a 5 minute rest break on the bike, a swig from the EB bottle and then Hyo Silver!!! Don’t even have to prepare anything. Just grab a couple of bags, get the bike and I’m ready to ride. Becky, thank you SO much!!! Not only for the gifts themselves, but for _remembering_ that riding my bicycle is one of my favorite things to do. THAT is what made your gifts so special to me: You remembered and thought about me, and THAT is just such a wonderful gift in itself. I wish for you and your loved ones, the most wonderful holiday ever, and may you have “einen guten Rutsch” (a good slide) into the New Year. Thank You Bill (Quasimodem) ---

OK I have received mine! It turns out that it came around the second of December and a member of my family stuck it on the stairs for me to find and it got stuck under some stuff and it sat there for ever! I will post when I open it. Thank you secret santa! ---
