Ok, my sister recently purchased “The Sims- The Complete Collection.” However, when she attempted to install it on her notebook, nothing happened. I gave it a shot and nothing. I tried to explore the CD and couldn’t. A window pops up very briefly and disappears. I learned she had installed “The Sims:Castaways,” which has SecuRom, but uninstalled it after it stopped working. I downloaded and tried the SecuRom unistaller unsuccessfully. Currently, she has “The Sims: Life Stories” installed, so this might be why it wasn’t. Still, I don’t understand why it won’t install this older and completely different game. Does anyone know to manually uninstall SecuRom or any possible solutions?

Are you sure it’s a CD and not a DVD-ROM?
