# Seed of Chucky- ugh!

I honestly enjoyed the Child’s play trilogy but frankly, the Chucky franchise went down the toilet with Bride of Chucky. I watched Seed of Chucky the same way a person might watch a train wreck, with a mixture of curiosity and revulsion. They have abandoned any sense of ‘horror’ and reduced it down to low-brow comedy.

The only thing I found funny about the film was that fact that Jennifer Tilly kept making jabs at herself. However, I kept waiting for them to make fun of the fact that she did a _horrible job playing herself_! 😕 Also redeemable were the Chucky/Bride dolls, who showed a lot of facial expression. I especially loved the ‘inredulous’ expression Chucky gave a couple of times in the film.

Other than that, most of the film was pretty bad, even by ‘Chucky’ standards- the scariest thing in the whole movie was the two kids at the end that looked like real-life versions of raggedy Ann and Andy. The movie would have worked better going straight to DVD; it probably would have netted more since fans would know it was just a gag sequel because I’m pretty sure this movie is tanking in the box office.
