I was just looking at [meetup.com](http://meetup.com) (thanks for the suggestion). It looks like they have a Friday night life drawing and painting session. $15 covers the model’s fee. I think I’m going. (And yes, said guy was clearly having fun with the conversation, but he probably should have been working.) ---

That sounds like fun! 'Round these parts we have Dr. Sketchy. And, actually, I was just going to make that a link, but I see from what’s on the front page that it’s definitely not SFW. Oops! I forget where you are, but I see that there are also Dr. Sketchy’s in Austin and Antonio. So… I have an irrational fear of calling my adviser. Thus, I generally tend to send her an email when I need something, which I did last night. Unfortunately, her reply was that I should call her today after 12. Which means I’d better get on it pretty soon. ---

I’ve had a morning of fun with TPTB. They’re at **N.O.L.** right now and I just finished. We have figured out that nobody really exactly knows what they want in the state file folders except they want stuff. :rolleyes: Seriously. Just tell us already. They (these are TPTB from whom we contract for state stuff) seem to believe there are forms that exist which don’t exist. Look on our site for the form they say. Nope. Does not exist. They are _shocked_, **shocked** I say, over this! I am not because I already know they are a bunch of dumbasses. They are irkier than irk. ---

Gah. I just called her and she gave me an email address to contact about a problem that I’m having and I can’t figure out what the first letter of the address is. I even clarified with her on the phone and am still getting it wrong. I thought she said “C” but that wasn’t it. So I went through a few letters and kept getting bounced emails. I just gave in and emailed her to get the correct one. And while I was typing this i got an answer to another question. Even though I’m a graduate student and have a priority registration appointment, I can’t register for the undergraduate classes that I need until my registration appointment during undergraduate registration time. It’s hopefully not going to be a big deal, but it seems kind of dumb to me. I think I’m done ranting and whining now. ---

Home from irk and had some beast stew for dindin. OYKW has a meetin’ to deal with tonight, poor thing, so I am all on my own. That’s ok cause after the day I’ve had I feel like I wanna go to bed right now. I won’t, of course, but I feel like it. We should chip in and by **soapy** the complete works of David Bowie. Slight change in supper plans - I found some ravioli in the freezer, so I dumped the sketty sauce over simmered ravioli - it was quite good. I’s stuffded after a quick and easy supper. I see an evening of knitting ahead. I’ve almost finished my afghan, and some texting mitts for my cousin are next. Oh, yeah, great excitement at FairyChatEstates! 😃 ---

Cleaning-garbage-cat wrangling out of the trees: done. Haven’t eaten yet. I do not count the cheetos. 😃 Just not hungry; I take advantage of days like this. They make up for days like yesterday when I was eating from morning 'til night, ugh. Maybe I am a snake, hrm… Negative-hot enough for AC constantly churning Positive-cold water’s warm enough for a shower again, lol. ---
