Is this something completely new? I was in London in September, including a few hours at the Tower of London and I can’t say that I noticed even one of these selfie sticks. I always take at least some photos of people I’m with. And I’m very glad I got into that habit before my mother died. It’s nice to have those pictures. That said - I had a friend who started with selfies long before Facebook. I remember he returned from vacation with almost a hundred pictures (on 35mm film) of his own big nose in front of some blurry scenery. It was not particularly interesting. ---

That part wasn’t really humourous at all, that really _was_ the factual part. The other stuff with the thieving children, group sex, camera stealing, genitals etc. That was the light-hearted banter. I’m off on a skiing trip today and I’m betting that this year (especially after Christmas day) I’ll be seeing camera drones on the slopes. They are getting cheaper and better all the time. ---

You’d think that, when all of your comments defending yourself consist of you saying “you aren’t understanding me,” you’d realize that you fucking communicated badly. When I read the OP, I see a selfish prick, and it’s not the people using selfie sticks. Most people could agree that selfie sticks being used without paying attention to other people were bad. But you had to be a female genital about it. Yeah, I almost used it. But you aren’t worth it.
