I almost can’t watch the “Sober” video all the way through. I like the song, but the visuals fill me with revulsion. I just forced myself to watch it and now I have this feeling of impending dread… …bleh… ---

[/QUOTE] Agreed. My favorite album is “Undertow” -I’ll listen to the whole thing over and over, but after seeing the vid for “Sober”, I tend to avoid the videos altogether and just enjoy the music. For listening experience: “Sober” and “Prison Sex” are kick-ass tracks. Well, as a Tool fan, I love all their stuff, but these two are my favorites. ---

I dunno why the videos make you not want to see them: they are some pretty darn neat stuff: yes somewhat disturbing, but then the songs are sort of disturbing. I think Prison Sex is pretty phenomenal as a piece of art. ---

While Aenima and Lateralus (and Undertow to an extent) are very heavy into the spiritual/mystical. I agree with you about their music video’s. There are very few bands that have used that medium as well as they have in the past (its been awile since one has been released). ---
