Your outfit is the last ensemble you wore in public, not the cigar smokin’ jammies you’re in right now. You are approached by a person you don’t know (me) who offers you a price - $50 US - to buy your pants on the spot. No dressing rooms; no rest rooms. Right here, right now, regardless of underpants, regardless of audience. Do you sell? Will you strip to your undies (and walk in them) in public for $50? Weather is not an issue. Assume that your health and physical comfort is not in jeopardy. Not for fifty dollars? How much then? Me? I’m not selling. Sorry. ---

Not these pants, sorry. They’re new and I like them a lot, plus they were the last size 5’s in the store. You can have the ones in the bottom of my closet for $25 though. ---

No way. It took along time for those Levi’s to get faded & comfortable - plus that style has been discontinued. Also, chances are I might be sans underwear. :o ---

Does Goodwill sell to people who walk in with no pants on? If they chased you out, would you try Salvation Army next, or St.Vincent de Paul? Which would be more likely to clothe the (semi-) naked? ---

Not for 50, but for anthing over 500. First, it’s way wierd, second if I thought I could get more money I would. It’s not like the person needs the pants or anything. ---

My pants plus the tailor’s charge to take the hem up is at least $50. You’ll have to do better than that. ---

Hell no, $50 is about as much as these things cost new. I think. I can’t remember the exchange rate. For £100, probably; but only if I thought about it. I’m more likely to just say “No! Go away you weirdo!” immediately. ---

Honest to God true story. . .I had a guy offer my $25.00 on the spot for my T-Shirt. Since the shirt was given to me (hence I paid nothing for it), I probably would have done it, except I wasn’t wearing a bra, and I was afraid of getting arrested. I tried to talk hubby into giving my his T-shirt for the ride home, but it was chilly out, and he wasn’t biting. ---

I’d have to check on the fine for decent exposure around here first, but then again, I wear nothing but Levi’s, and they run about $30.00, so we’re talking a net gain of $20.00. Not a very handsome intake considering the inconvenience. But then again, $20…that’s a case and a half of beer…hell yeah! ---
