# Selling collectible cards

I am finally moving out of my parent’s house. And while i was cleaning out my closet and under my bed i found some things i want to sell: lots and lots of baseball cards, and Magic: The Gathering.

What sorts of places in the Baltimore/D.C. area are into buying these sorts of collectibles? I don’t care about analyzing each card for it’s worth, i’d rather just sell everything for a couple hundred bucks (if that) and just be done with it.

I could trash it, but i thought sharing some of my old collectibles might benefit someone.

When I got rid of my magic the gathering I just posted it on ebay to sell as a lot. I posted info about some of the more valuable cards and just indicated the bulk lot price. Got a few hundred off of it. I suppose I could have piecemealed them out for more but I couldn’t be bothered.

I don’t know about the baseball cards, but if you want to PM/email me a list of some of the Magic highlights, I can give you an estimate for what you might get for it on eBay.

I’d try calling some comic/games shops in the area and basically tell them what you told us. Some of them will probably have a buyer who will agree to take a look at your collection and make you an offer.
