> [Mark Clayton](http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/ClayMa00.htm) was an NFL wide receiver in the 1980s and 1990s, primarily with the Dolphins. He was one of the “Marks Brothers”, favorite targets for Dan Marino.
> [Mark Clayton](http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/ClayMa01.htm) is currently an NFL wide receiver, playing for the Rams, after several years with the Ravens.

There were two Mel Grays as well-both African American wide receivers to boot, missed playing together in the NFL by 4 years (1971-82 vs. 1986-1997).

Another thread reminded me:

[Eddie Fisher](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eddie_Fisher_(singer)), semi-popular singer and husband of Debbie Reynolds, Elizabeth Taylor, and Connie Stevens (not at the same time).
[Eddie Fisher](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eddie_Fisher_(baseball)), Major league relief pitcher.

Then there’s
[William “Willie” Wilson](http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/w/wilsowi02.shtml), Black center fielder for the Kansas City Royals, known for his speed on the basepaths.
[William “Mookie” Wilson](http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/w/wilsomo01.shtml), Black center fielder for the New York Mets, known for his speed on the basepaths.
[William Wilson](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Wilson_(short_story)) – story by Edgar Allen Poe about a man and his dopplegaenger.

There seem to be a lot of NFL wide receivers who fit this pattern. Here are two more:

[Malcolm Floyd](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malcolm_Floyd), wide receiver for the Houston Oilers in the 1990s
[Malcom Floyd](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malcom_floyd), wide receiver for the San Diego Chargers in the 2000s

The best part? They’re brothers. I wonder if there’s a third brother coming up through the ranks who’s just named “Macom”.
