Senator Clinton - You Are an Idiot

Let Jon Stewart moderate and ask questions.

Next election cycle, he might do it. Is this good or bad? He’s a comedian. He knows and admits it and is fairly pissed that he is also the best journalist out there, at the moment.

But then you have to watch the winner debate McCain.
Maybe, but in that case, if it’s Barack, or SkyPixie forbid, Hillary, it wouldn’t be a fight, it’d be a killin’. Either one could talk circles around McCain.
Amazing. The Dems seem to be snatching a win from the jaws of victory, again.

How can this be?
3 reasons pop into my head;

Ego, self-righteousness and lack of focus.

By that I mean;

Ego: Both of the candidates are starting to believe their own hype.

Self-righteousness: ‘MY platform is better that YOUR platform because MY platform includes EVERYBODY, even the people who don’t wan’t to be included’

Lack of focus: The Democrats can’t get their base to all go in one direction, and when they differ, they argue like drunken teenagers.

Great suggestion, though I do think he leans Obama.

Who would trust Shrillery* to abide by the agreed-upon rules?

Not me.

*Thanks, BJMoose.

You’s welcome, though surely I’m not the first to corrupt her name in that manner.

Good suggestion, but I’d prefer Lewis Black.

No, no, no, no. For the best in journalism excellence, it has to be Billo. :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:

And he might win anyway. Gore and Kerry could talk circles around W. Britney Spears, drunk, could talk circles around W.

Lurking on Free Republic I’ve found the preferred choice seems to be “Hitlery.”

Please stop doing this. When you simplistically manipulate someone’s name into a second grader’s insult you make not only yourself look stupid but also your side. As an Obama supporter, I would hope that you would keep the level of discourse coming from our side a something above Free Republic level.

I merely pointed out it’s being done, I don’t approve. Don’t care for “Shrillery” either, nor any of the changes rung on Obama’s name so far. Bush I usually call “W” solely for the sake of keystroke-brevity.

I dunno, “Hitlery” is pretty harsh and is a borderline Godwin. That said, at this point of the campaign, I am pretty partial to “Hillabee”.

You made a good point so FWIW, I will do as you suggest.

I still like ‘Shrub’ best of all of them.
Thing is, something like this before the 6th, would seriously disrupt existing plans, wouldn’t it? Stop Obama from getting his feet on the ground in Indiana, where he’s slowly pulling ahead of Hillary.
Cause she’s insisting it has to be before then.

I can see why Obama’s turning it down.
I wish he’d had the balls to do what Gwen Ifill suggested and just completely ignore her request.

Well,

I have to say that I sure as fuck am not going to watch it. This Obama-Hillary thing has angered me so much that I’m sick of even watching it now. Obviously I’m pissed at Hillary for putting us through this, but also at half of the Democrats who believe in her. Then you have Obama, who somehow has managed to piss me off by his being involved now. I’m just sick of both of them. He can’t debate worth shit, and looks stupid when he lets Hillary walk all over him.

Another Debate? I’m ready for them both to go away. I obviously want Obama to win but I want a break from him too. I’m just begging that this is over after NC and IN…

At least Hillary doesn’t think that the Lincoln-Douglas debates featured Fredrick Douglas, as the good folks at Fox and Friends apparently do.
I believe they have already been to 21 debates.

Enough already, get on with it. I can’t wait for the whole thing to be over already!
They have had a grand total of 4 debates between just the two of them.

And, gee, it’s kinda important you know.

So who wants to go before the people and discuss what they’ll do as President, and who wants to duck? Isn’t *that * what the undecideds will notice?
