A former slave state voted for a Jim Crow defending states rights advocate… YEAAAAA! If only Kentucky had been this decisive 150 years ago they’d have been officially CSA instead of just “and the rest” along with Missouri like a Confederate Professor and Mary Ann on the rebel flag. Maybe now we can work on those pesky Jews. In other news Lexington elected it’s first openly gay mayor. Kentuckians must just love sending weird mixed messages- I’m surprised their state flag isn’t plaid. ---

Will the OP be kind enough to go on record with, say, four things he expects Rand Paul to attempt over his term, and the criteria by which the attempts can be considered successes or failures? I get that he might support the _idea_ of Rand Paul sufficiently that the reality of what Rand Paul can actually accomplish may be less important. I’m just curious. Two and four years from now we can check back and see how well the OP’s expectations are being met. ---

He very rarely ever seems to post again in OPs he’s made, I’ve noticed. 9 times out of 10 he seems to start an OP and then leave, never to return.
