As you may have heard, our beloved Bat Boy was recently [hit by an exterminator’s truck and sprayed with insecticide](http://www.weeklyworldnews.com/news/index.cfm?instanceid=13947). He is in serious condition, and somewhat depressed. However, you can [send a Get Well card](http://www.weeklyworldnews.com/news/index.cfm?instanceid=13950) to Bat Boy. This would be a good time for the Teeming Millions to pull together and show the little guy how much we care. Plus, it would probably help him recover from his gloom and speed him along the road to recovery. Hang in there, Bat Boy! ---

Actually, I jumped straight to an image of Wes looking sadly at a bad photo of a moth with a man’s head in a jar in a lab. “How can they do this to the Moth-man?!” So I watch “The Chronicle”–sue me. Does anyone else here watch it? I find it hilarious. It probably helps that the photographer is incredibly similar to one of my good (and very funny) friends. They even look rather alike, which is remarkable considering that Wes is black and my friend is white–mostly a matter of expression and carriage, I suspect.
