So I played [NTN](http://www.ntn.com/hospitality_tech/players_corner/index.asp) trivia while out with some friends last night. I won. Every single game (well, in the bar.) 🙂 Nobody else came close. My high-water mark was #9 on the entire North American network, with stops at #35, #25, and #17, among quite a few lower rankings. I know, I know. Judging a feller’s intelligence by his performance against other inebriated sots is not precisely…scientific. But it sure felt good. All the wimmens wanted me…they were just too bedazzled to approach, I’m sure. ---

I like NTN trivia too. Unfortunately, the restaurant that has it around here usually isn’t very busy and there aren’t very many folks to compete against. ☹ ---

I have been playing NTN for a while. It’s a great way to entertain yourself in a bar. But me and the regulars at my NTN bar there have been playing for so long we kind of got tired of trying to win, and work as a team. We almost always get at least one individual top twenty for the game, and often a top 10 for the bar score. And the Bartender gives us free drinks for a bar top score. 🙂 ---

Easiest way to meet girls. Just pick a catchy handle, and watch them come over with reverence in their eyes when you win. Doesn’t work so well on karaoke nights, sadly. ---

I used to play all the time under the name MRMOJO (what a surprise, eh?). I had 7 perfect games, often got over 14,000 points, never, ever got less than 10,000, won 9 out of every 10 games I played, and finished in the top 50 so regularly that people would comment only when I didn’t make it. I, sir, am the Drunken Trivia Master. 🆒 ---

NTN, a few pitchers, a few friends, and a lot of wings make for a great evening. Bars here in Gainesville regularly rank in the top 100 or so. Not great, but hardly shabby. ---

I spit on your trivia skills. Or I would, if I were any good at entertainment trivia. Ask me about isotopes of scandium? Fine. Minor characters in _Wuthering Heights_? Sure. The designers of the Hagia Sophia? No problem. 1930’s Yankees lineup? Child’s play. The name of Delta Burke’s character on _Designing Women_? Uh oh. Houston, we have a serious problem.
