# "Sending a URL to a friend" question...

When I want to send a URL to a friend, should I edit out the “s=” part after the question mark in the URL?

Does that session ID mean anything to somebody else that would click on the thread?

Am I woefully ignorant of how VBulletin stuff works?

I would edit it out since it will serve no purpose to your friend. You can also remove the “s=&” if there is no session id.
