When your eyes have been adjusted to the dark, and someone flips on the light. It’s not a _physical_ pain so much as it is my occipital lobes screaming in agony. Only my eyes can hear it. ---

I hate the little spark of static electricity jumping from metal things to my fingers. I hate it. I guess it’s silly to get mad at electrons, but I have done so. Also, I hate walking into spider webs, which seems to happen all the time. The little stringy things are hard to get rid of, and I hate when I don’t quite get one off and then I take off my glasses and I can feel it all over my head. ---

Kinda worried now that I’m really weird since nobody mentioned mine, but - touching sheets of paper with wet hands. ick! I’m ok with paper towels and napkins, but book pages or printer size pages I can’t do it 🙂 ---

I despise the sensation of someone whispering into my ear. It drives me insane. The warm, moist air from their breath and the sounds of the hushed voice… Arghh!! ---

This bothers me just writing about it, but…when you are trying to erase with a pencil or erasable pen and the eraser is gone so just end up rubbing that metal bit on the paper… eeyuck. I’m gone. ---

I have on occasion held a hangar in my teeth while I hung something, or tried to, but the plastic feeling makes me want to throw up. (No jokes, now.) Handling wet yarn. Transferring a freshly washed afghan or sweater from washer to dryer = Bleaurghhhh. Oddly enough, fingernails on a chalkboard doesn’t bother me, but wet yarn gives me the equivalent feeling. ---

When your feet get wet, in a dirty environment (like wet concrete ) and they dry and get like a film feeling it The feeling of water from a spray bottle going anywhere but your hair. the way it feels after a nail has been broken.
