This is a great song with great lyrics. Mike McDonald (also known as mushmouth) doesn’t make them the easiest to understand, so if you need help, go to one of the lyric pages out on the web.
If you can’t figure this song out (which is very straight forward, IMO), you are doomed with the songs that truly come out of left field.
The refrain (or chorus) is a classic line, and can be used in many situations, not just for people blinded by love

Who can argue with that? That is a fact!
