[Sentinels of the Multiverse](http://sentinelsofthemultiverse.com/) is a cooperative, tabletop multiplayer card game where the players are superheroes fighting one or more villains in a changing environment. The [video game version](http://sentinelsdigital.com/anniversary.html) just released multiplayer support and [is on sale this weekend](http://handelabra.com/blog/2015/10/15/happy-anniversary-to-the-sentinels) on Steam and other places, with some of the money being donated to the Child’s Play charity.

The game has a distinctive art style and a certain amount of flavor. The rules appear to be simple, but there’s significant replayability. Players I’ve known who like the game really, really like it (I’m one!).
