That stuff happens all the time. ICE lies on charging documents and sworn statements. I have seen credible reports of statements that two-year-olds declared that they were coming to the United States to find work.
Health and Human Services officials told the governor of Washington that any detained children that are placed in long-term foster care are considered “reunited”.
