It’s quite likely that this will occur or has occurred so I will just say it (I mean, they are backwards separated by one): **What is the purpose of the US customary system of measurement? Pronunciation of "kilometer"** Yeah, I don’t know how teaching people how to pronounce “kilometer” would the reason to go US customary because the kilometer isn’t actually a unit in the US customary system of measurement. ---
