Two points: Point the first - I didn’t realize that cider donuts were an exclusively Yankee food. In the spirit of MMP brotherhood and heartfelt generosity I hereby offer to overnight a half dozen of the little wonders to the first three people to e-mail me and ask. You need to provide me with a shipping address and be willing to wait until the weekend when I can get out to an orchard, but there are no other restrictions. Note: they’re best when fresh and hot, but you can kinda-sorta counterfiet that condition by sticking them in the microwave for a few seconds. Point the second - We’re **Rue** less. I know none of us wants to confront that fact directly, but there it is. We need to get organized, as foreign a concept to the MMP as organization is. Someone needs to step up to the plate and perform as Guest MMP next week. Nominations are open. ---

As a rule, the person that says we should organize is appointed as the organizer, i.e. MMP OPer. Thus, I nominate **Ex**. ---

Ok, **Ex** is off the hook for now. **Bobbio** volunteered first so he gets next week. **Draelin** also volunteered so she gets the week after, if needed. Then we’ll go from there. Since the OP is pretty much stream of conscious, it can be about any ol’ thing wandering through the recesses of your mind. ---

Thanks for taking care of the hungry MMPers, **Ex**. If you’re one of the lucky recipients of Ex’s generosity, let us know next week what you think of our Yankee tradition of cider donuts. Work’s gotten crazy this morning. Everyone seems to have problems. “In the new database, how do we categorize a building that’s 1/2 warehouse and 1/2 office?” How the heck should I know?? Sheesh. At least the partners (my bosses) seem to have resolved their differences from yesterday afternoon. I emailed them to ask how to handle 2 different situations and got back 3 different answers. Um… maybe you could talk to each other BEFORE responding to me…? I’m certainly not going to randomly pick one of the three answers! That’s a good way to get in trouble! Le sigh. ---

Since no one else is confessing to emailing **Ex** , I’ll admit that I did. I know how much we love our food around here, so I’m not banking on actually being one of the first three. But what’s the worst that can happen? Ex will now have my email address and begin to stalk me? Eh, I can take it. ---

I just emailed him too. _With my address_! Aagh! What’s the worst he can do? Break in and face down all the heavily armed Husbands? Last evening was very good, although the day was hectic and we didn’t get to bed till very late. On the up side we have tonnes of leftover dips, and I’ve got pork loin to shred so we can eat sammiches with tzatziki and feta dip all weekend. On the down side the kitchen is a big mess. It’s Mr. Lissar’s project for today- getting it clean. That plus finishing the painting. ---

Just now waking up is so fun. I didn’t have my 11:00 today, as my teacher was gone, so why should I have gone to my 9:30? Especially given that I thought the class was going to be awesome because I had this cool openly gay teacher and I’ve had 3 years of french before. (The class is Elementary French I) But he hates me, mainly because he made a seating chart that split up me and the guy with whom I’m sharing a book, so every other day, I sit in there and read the newspaper. Such is life. He shouldn’t have put my book in the very opposite corner of the room., ---

See, I would have e-mailed **Ex,** but I figured he’d be bombarded with requests. Besides, I’m out here on the left coast too and figured I would have been way too late. I’m hungry dammit! I don’t know why. Plus, I can’t breathe and my throat hurts. Stupid sick people coming to the hospital and spreading their germs, what are they thinking? Whine, whine, _sniff_ _sniff_. I know we all plan to press on in the absence of our illustrious **Rue,** but I’d sure like to know that all is well with him. I’m just a big worry wart. I made chicken noodle soup for dinner last night. It was good, but I think **Mr. Taters** was slightly disappointed. I think he was looking forward to a big, hearty meal with a slab o’ meat. I made do with the ingredients I had on hand, so he didn’t get a big slab o’ meat. I guess I’ll have to stop at the grocery store tonight on my way home from work. ---

One small problem: **scout** provided her name, place of employment, and phone number. That’s it. What am I supposed to do, fax them to you? I need a mailing address, sweetie. ---

I think it would be fun to have **Ex** be your stalker. He’d do a good job with none of that annoying low quality stalking stuff, like sending letters with his eyelashes included. He’d also be a very organized stalker I think, a stalker you could depend upon. Plus, when he’s out stalking you, you could have somebody sneak over to his house and steal all his kitchen booty. Darn you cider doughnuts! It looks like I might have trouble finding apple cider if it’s the hard kind. There might be the juice kind of cider around so that’s the one I hope the recipe means. This place just sucks, and when it doesn’t suck, it blows. Did you know those two words have a naughty meaning? I had no idea until a couple of years ago. I knew the meaning of felch before suck, which is so SDMB and yet, very _not_ SDMB. Yay! I didn’t go to open house. Booo! It was because I had a migraine. It was one of those really bad ones where you can’t hardly see, are sick to your stomach and even your heartbeat is too loud. The Imitrex-- it does nothing! I wonder if my doctor would prescribe a pain killer since Imitrex is more useless than Pez. At least Pez tastes good. What gets me **Donkey** , is the idea of seating charts in college. Heck, the profs didn’t even take attendance at UC. ---

Back from getting sweetie’s neck shot. He’s woozy and crashed on the couch now. Guess it’s a good thing we were out - the cider donuts sound yummy, but I’m trying to stay away from sweets and stuff. Although I did find a recipe [here](http://brunch.allrecipes.com/az/BkdCidrDghnts.asp) that sounds pretty good. Does it sound authentic, **Ex**?? Before the afternoon is over, I’m going to make a run to the convenience center and to the DMV to get stickers for our Jetta - it expires in Oct. Oh yeah, I really do it up right when I have a day off! ---

I don’t know about faxing donuts, but I wanted to make sure I made the cut before I gave him my address. What he got was my auto-sig from Outlook. That recipe you linked seems pretty easy, FCM. I figured donuts would be difficult to make.
