Started watching the new series _[Moonhaven](https://m.imdb.com/title/tt14192428/)_. First few minutes, I’m thinking “this is bad”. Then about 5 minutes in during a conversation between two police detectives, I realize “Oh, wait, this is a comedy/parody”. After another couple of minutes, I realize that no, it isn’t. It is taking itself seriously, it is just bad. Really, really, really, really, really, really bad. _Awful_ writing. _Awful_ acting. _Awful_ dialogue. _Awful_ made-up future-speak. _Awful_ future technology props. Just stunningly bad. _Plan 9 From Outer Space_ bad. It is like _[Another Life](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/another-life-in-netflix/837815)_ and _[Pandora](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/pandora-tv-series-not-app/841217)_ got together and had a baby.
