Though regarding last night’s Emmy Awards, they do seem to be lazy in their voting, giving six awards each to Succession and The Bear, five to Beef and two to Last Week Tonight. [I thought it was weird](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/schitts-creek-sweeps-the-emmy-awards-for-comedy/921164) when Schitt’s Creek swept the comedy awards three years ago, winning all seven.
