**Anxious People** , Netflix. Swedish adaptation of Swedish author Frederik Backman’s book about a bank robbery/hostage situation. 6 episodes, the first four were comedic in tone, but the final two went more poignant. Inna… who has read the book… says that a lot was changed for the series (for example, the book was largely a two-day affair in two settings, the series was a week+ series of events in multiple locations). It occurred over the New Years holiday and not an inch of snow in sight, which was weird for my preconceptions of wintery Sweden. Recommended. --- _[View the full topic](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/series-youve-recently-watched-are-now-watching-or-have-given-up-on/946108)._
