Because there’s a lot of right wing crazy on the Internet, but holy shit! That combination of total incoherence, heaps of anger, lack of impulse control, and chock full o’ frenetic energy just screams 60 year old tweaker.

IMHO he’s trying to post clever “gotchas” but in a “jest kiddin!” style that will allow him to handwave away all the responses pointing out how badly his “gotchas” have failed.

Failed prototypes. based on the way things are going, I’d say we’ll be up to **Habakkuk40** at least before most of the bugs are ironed out.

Maybe my nonreligiosity is excessive, but my first thought about his screenname isn’t about the Bible but about [the WW2 project to make aircraft carriers out of ice.](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Habakkuk) His brain is melting just as fast as the Mythbusters showed the ships would.

I thought of Pykrete right away too. I’m am now bummed that Mythbusters covered that and I missed it. I’m sure it’s on YouTube, but I’m on dial up.

Taking him at his word, he is being a caregiver to an aged father. That’s worth some points in my book. Not enough, but some.
His arrival on the Boards reminds me of my Daddy. After he returned from the Navy, he became a bantamweight boxer of minor renown. He had a habit of going into a bar, ordering a beer, and then yelling in a loud voice “Anybody here from Dallas?” Some unwary soul would answer, “Yeah, I’m from Dallas!”, naively expecting some camaraderie.
My Daddy would say “I hates assholes from Dallas!” He was especially pleased if the victim was twice his size.
Lot of bars in Waco in 1946. Took a while before he wasn’t welcome in any of them.
