I suspect that if you are not joking about the incident the Roma in question where. Roma do sometimes send or give their kids to other Roma to be raised because of economics or family needs (ex. someone has no children, but wants some, their siblings have more kids than they wcan handle, so the send younger sons and daughters to live with their childless aunt and uncle) , but it would be very unusual for them to be interested in a stranger’s kid. The difference between adoption is there is no lying about the family relationships. Children are not raised to call anyone other than their actual mother or father, mother or father. ---

Part of why she’s against adoption is she can’t tell which are illegitimate children and she doesn’t want to mistakenly touch hands with them. How can she shun them if she can’t identify them? When they call someone else Mom and Dad she cannot tell who is worthy. ---
