I remember when if you wanted to see porn you had to go way out in the woods and poke around in the bushes. When you start finding rusty beer cans, your gettin’ warm.
I think the spitting thing is pretty gross and silly, kinda kills the moment, and that’s coming from one that will do an R-Kelly on you if asked nicely. 😃

In what sense of spitting are you talking about? Just spitting or projectile spitting? You find saliva more offensive that urine?

I don’t mind the spitting.
And it’s true that for every act somebody finds absolutely disgusting, there’s a percentage of the population that’s turned on by it.
But.
What I’ve noticed is how difficult it is to find anything these days that _doesn’t_ contain some sort of over-the-top fetish-type acts. Is regular sex just too boring to pull in an audience anymore? That’s sad.
Personally I don’t want to see a guy put his hands around a girl’s throat. Turns me right off. But it seems to happen increasingly often in porn. And every FFM threesome nowadays seems to include “sperm-swapping,” which grosses me out. So I can absolutely see the OP’s point.
Oh, and don’t get me started on the ones with the cameraman/buddy who has to narrate the action… “Dude, she’s totally sucking your dick! That’s awesome!!” No, _dude_, it would be awesome if you’d _SHUT UP!!!_

This isn’t fully related, but I don’t want to start another porn thread for fear of looking like a big ol’ whore, so let me just tell you here: We watched “Alice in Wonderland, a musical fantasy” last night, from 1976, and it was AWESOME! Hilariously awesome. There was singing and dancing and costumes and clever dialog, and a bit of vanilla sex. The acting was even not bad. Seriously, if you can get your hands on it, it’s great fun. Anyone got any more fun seventies porn to recommend?

When I was young, we had to pay 5 bucks to sneak into an R rated flick to see some boobies. Imho, I think this alone drove the science fiction and horror films of the 70’s and 80’s.

I also found an excess of spitting recently. And it can’t be just for lube. Did her mouth need lube that bad? Spitting into her mouth over and over again, big goopy wads of spit. Gross.
I don’t care that some people find it sexy. I just want it mentioned on the back of the DVD, so I can avoid the disappointment that I just rented something that makes me want to hurl.

I don’t really watch porn, though I find analysis of trends in mainstream porn interesting. So no particular opinion there.
As far as actual sexual experiences go: I’ve had a guy (same one) spit on my, er, genitals while going down on me quite a few times, and I was into it. Although the first time I was a little surprised. However, if someone spit on my face or in my mouth, which I’ve heard is also in vogue in porn, I’d be offended and turned off. I don’t think I’d even let them do it if they had a fetish for it and asked permission.

Neither one. It was in _[Nightdreams](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nightdreams)_.
That said, I loathe the spitting, choking and general abuse that has moved from the most extreme porn and become pretty much standard. I find myself looking only for older titles, from the mid nineties and before, to avoid it. It’s baffling to me. I _like_ women, and I like to see them having sex. But I get the impression that either the male performers or the directors really don’t.
I forgot to answer **Renee** : Bill Osco’s _[Alice in Wonderland](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alice_in_Wonderland_%281976_film%29)_ is a classic. The songs are even good! It dates back to a period when people honestly thought that adult films and Hollywood would meet in the middle.

My suggestion would be to not watch pornography. I haven’t, because I’d feel guilty if I did. But more importantly, I have heard it’s not good for your mindset in that it teaches you that women are objects instead of people, or something like that.
But I’d stay away from that stuff.
