Seriously, How in the Hell does Privatizing ANYTHING Make it Better?

If the kids are doing well in their school there’s no reason to take them out. Parents would have the option of leaving them just where they are. But why shouldn’t the parents have a choice? Especially if your kids are doing poorly because the school sucks? This is not hypothetical, there are bad schools. It’s a reality. One moption is to keep throwing good money after bad and hope in 2, 3, 5 8, years they turn it around. Another option (which does not preslude the first, is to have someone open another school, or schools. If there’s was just one restaurant in your area, and it was horrible, would you just keep going back? No. The market would see that as an opportunity and other restaurants would open. If they were better, they’d stick around. The other restaurant would probably improve itself due to the competition. If not, what’s the loss? In fact, if this new restaurant revitalizes people with the idea of dining out, more restaurants would come to the neighborhood. In the end everyonebenefits, except possibly the incompetent owners of the original restaurants who either couldn’t or wouldn’t do the things necessary to offer a better dining experience.

Another facet of this, often overlooked, is that it would allow schools to tailor curriculums to different groups. Some cold be more focused on the trades, or the arts. Childeren would be able to get a school experience that would better suit them (while still requiring the schools to teach the requiste amount of academics.

Who are the many? And what does that have to do with the merits of the idea. And are you actually arguing with this: “the idea deserves to be assessed on its merits”?
