# Seriously... is Vin Diesel any good as an actor?

The climactic scene in _The Iron Giant_ has made more grown men cry than any other movie scene since Bambi’s mom was stuffed and mounted…with the possible exception of Cameron killing the car in _Ferris Bueller’s Day Off_.

I was stunned to learn that Vin Diesel had provided the voice.

I admit to never having seen any of his other films, but for that alone he has earned my respect.
