I hate having to check every couple of days to see if the websites I like have been updated. Isn’t there a site that you can sign into that will do this for me? I thought there was one. Thanks!

There used to be a service called “MindIt” (then My-MindIt) from NetMind (now Pumatech, I guess) but the whole service is now gone. If you go to [http://mindit.netmind.com](http://mindit.netmind.com), which is the link to the main MindIt site still found on many Web sites with un-working MindIt boxes, you’ll see the service is gone.

I’ve never heard about another service that replaced it. NetMind was always the one I ran into most often.

MSIE can do this. For version 5.5, read the help entries for “browsing the web offline”. After you’ve set this up and the page changes, it puts a little red mark on “favorites” entry for the page.

You can also select the properties for the “favorites” entry, and on the “download” tab, you can email yourself if the page has changed (I’ve never tried this, however).
