Not all memories, though, are fond: Remember that thing the Count used to do to Bert when Bert pissed him off - that lightning bolt hand gesture thing, causing Bert to jiggle back and forth as one recently stunned with some occult magick would? Yeah, I love all these bits. Last night, I served pickled beets in sour cream (it was Russian night), and my husband started singing “beet beet sugar beet!” And whenever the kids ask for milk, we wind up with _Miiiiiillk, milk, milk, la lah laaa la…_ Yes, Sesame Street has pretty much taken over our brains. [nonsensical story]One time I was with some friends at a dance performance thingy, and they started playing that piece that shows up in _2001_ at the beginning, before the _Blue Danube Waltz_ bit, you know what I mean, very majestic and loud, and my friend leans over to me and hisses, _ELEVEN!!_ And I about died laughing…[/nonsensical story] ---
