We may not glorify that sort of thing on mainstream TV, but we do have religious channels like [Trinity Broadcast Network](http://www.tbn.org) that does seek to inculcate Christian values to children. In the secular realm it is not so dangerous as the idiocies a teacher may tell me may be important to me, but they are not part of my core belief system, and are therefore more easily altered. ---
